We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media Manager and Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's social media channels, creating engaging content, and growing our online community. This role requires a combination of marketing, communication, and writing skills to create and publish various types of content across our social media platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Social Media Manager & Content Creator at Sudo Africa, your primary duties include:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Manage and create content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Monitor social media channels for engagement, trends, and opportunities.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
• Create visually appealing and engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business or related field with 2 - 3 years’ experience as a social media manager & content creator or similar role.
• Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
